BioConstructives is a development-stage biotechnology company located in Bozeman, Montana. The Company’s sole mission is to complete the development of a novel peptide agent, capable of neutering companion animals and some livestock, by injection, for application by the veterinary community. The technology, which gave rise to this peptide, arose from work undertaken at Louisisana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This peptide agent, which currently includes several structural variations, is designated by the name ReproStat. BioConstructives, through its wholly-owned subsidiary ReproStat, LLC, has the exclusive world-wide rights for commercialization of this agent.

At the present time the only reliable methods for controlling companion animal reproduction rely on surgical procedures or continual birth control injections. Owing to the cost and inherent problems associated with surgical procedures, a considerable fraction of the eligible pets are not neutered. The currently available birth control agents are neither affordable, reliable, safe nor convenient. The appeal of ReproStat’s potential arises from its remarkable safety, along with the potential for elimination of anesthesia, invasive surgery and often, overnight hospitalization.
